ESPN FAKED STADIUM CHEERS FOR BUSH SR.
Yesterday when I saw this diary on the recommended list with over 550 comments at that time, I was shocked and dismayed at the level of accusations assuming a subsidiary of the parent company Disney would do such a thing.
Why...... Because a very close friend was there in NOLA working the game, a friend that I have known for 11 years and through him have learned about the sports television industry. I immediately called him yesterday and caught him on a layover stop on his flight home. I am going to include his responses to the above diary and because ESPN and the sports industry strict attempt to remain neutral in politics be aware he is NOT an ESPN employee but a freelancer (as are most who work in the mobile TV industry).

Why Health Savings Account ARE NOT THE ANSWER to the healthcare crisis
Wed Apr 05, 2006 at 11:41:31 PM PDT
Shopping for the best deal .....
I am a healthcare professional, a RN for 33 years working in acute care and the insurance industry. In the past my family has had their share of medical issues.
1. 1995 my 13 yr old son was hit by a Chevy Blazer while riding his bike sustaining a closed head trauma and bumper fracture just below his right knee. I can see how I needed to stop the lifeflight to shop around for the cheapest trauma center. That bill was over 48K in 1995 dollars
2. 1995 (fun year) my 72 yr old father falls down the John Day river bank and has a compound fracture of his hip. He has four ambulance transports and a fixed wing transport to the nearest trauma hospital. Yep, stop everything .... we need the lowest bidder.
3. My 17 yr old son wakes me up at 4 am with a severe belly ache, I call our PCP and was told to meet us at the ER. He is in OR in an hour with a ruptured appendix. So I am to call around to find the LOWEST bidder while my son dies of peritonitis?
Then again.....
Photoshop or Kaloogian does it again?

The Kaloogian picturegate just does not die. Found on
TPM Cafe further questions on accuracy of pictures and it is now broading to false endorsements.
On Kaloogian's campaign website is a photo of him posing with President George Bush, in a rotating "Flash" slideshow.

Someone Needs to Slap Ed Schultz
Thu Sep 08, 2005 at 11:03:09 AM PDT
Yesterday 9/7/2005 Ed Schultz slapped at the Phoenix and Arizonans response and treatment of the Katrina evacuees who are residing at our Veterans Memorial Coliseum from a report from a California truck driver. He implied that they were being held prisoner in the Coliseum and stated "what does it mean they were processed?"
He dismissed a first hand account provided by Arizona State Representative Kyrsten Sinema of the care of the evacuees who arrived Sunday and Monday of this week. After stating that he was not going to take the word of "some" politician, he sided with a truck driver who wanted to just drive in there and take a family home.
Here is what Arizonians have done for Katrina Victims
Phoenix AZ responds to the needs of Katrina evacuees within hours
Mon Sep 05, 2005 at 11:15:16 PM PDT
At 6am this morning I tuned in my local Air America station at 1010 KXXT and instead of the a line up of "the Best Of", I heard the local talk show hosts of the weekend show "Truth to Power" with Jeff Farias & Kyrsten Sinema. Kyrsten is State Representative of District 15 where the evacuees of Katrina are temporarily sheltered in the coliseum.
The first plane of Katrina's victims landed at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport 9/4/2005 and Arizona expects to eventually receive over 2500. Kyrsten was able to provide a first hand account of the status of the evacuees this morning. Many arrived with just the clothes they were wearing with no other possessions. The victims received their first shower in over a week but unfortunately they had to put on the same clothes they arrived in. Jeff and Kyrsten put out a call for new clothes and personal care items to be dropped off at the radio station and their listeners responded.

The American Legion Doesn't Speak for Me
Thu Aug 25, 2005 at 01:32:24 PM PDT
Mr. Cadmus,
I am shocked and sadden that you and your organization would advocate the destruction of the right granted to all American citizens by the Bill of Rights. The history of my family can be directly traced to imigrants prior to the inception of this country and those who fought for our very freedoms and eligible to become a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. I am a member of a multiple generational military family, thankfully none are members of your organization and now I can understand why. My example of defending freedom is my father who was one of a handful who survived the first wave on the battle on Tarawa, I now understand why he never joined your organization. As a young woman, he stood by me in our opposition to the Vietnam War.

Az Democratic State Central Committee Meeting

The Arizona Democratic Party met in Flagstaff Arizona August 20th to elect a new Party Chairman. Harry Mitchell was elected to fill the position. Harry Mitchell is a AZ State Senator who gave a profound acceptance speech which hopefully will showcase his view of the Arizona Democratic Party.
Mr. Mitchell spoke of Arizona Democrats welcoming everyone to our home, that all are welcomed to our family. He also asked if someone finds the Republican Tent too drafty, that they are welcomed to the home of the Democratic Party as all are welcomed.
The party voted on a resolution to request the withdrawal of troops from Iraq:
