Similar to the FreeRice.com site, Click4Obama.com asks questions and donates online ad space for correct answers. From their "about" page:

Click4Obama has three goals:

1. Challenge Americans to lean more about American History, Government, Politics, Race Relations, and Current Events

2. Provide everyone an easy opportunity to become involved in the future of America

3. Support Barack Obama's dream to bring about real change in Washington

Looks like one to add to my list of donation sites, along with EcologyFund.com, the TheHungerSite.com family, and the afore-mentioned FreeRice.com :-).

Back in 2004, when the Brand Democrat meme was gaining steam over on Oliver Willis' site, I decided to grab the domain name BRANDDEMOCRAT.ORG before someone "on the right" got it (someone already had BRANDDEMOCRAT.COM, which still doesn't have anything on it). It used to point to http://www.oliverwillis.com/... but when that went 404 I canged the forward to http://dkosopedia.com/... :-).

My intention was always to hand the domain off to someone who'd want to do something with it, but no one ever took me up on that. While reimbursement for the domain registration would be nice, I'm not looking to sell the domain name, just find it a good home.

So, if anyone would like to take BRANDDEMOCRAT.ORG and do something with it, let me know and we'll work something out :-).
