Watching the house voting on the override of Bush's veto of the Intelligence bill made my heart stop.  Six, there were 6 republicans who in essence voted against the use of torture.  Only 6.  And at the same time, there were 3 Democrats who voted against the override.  Who are they?  How do they qualify as Democrats??

I wonder how the Republicans sleep at night.  How do they feel about gutting our great republic and leaving us hanging out for any censure the world may make on us?  Do they think that by being terrorists we can defeat the terrorist?  We are fighting a monster by becoming one.

I've never done a diary before, and I'm sure that I will be doing a lot wrong, but I am appalled and heartsick and just had to say something.
