2008 Open Thread with lame poll

Since management is stingy with open threads I decided to post one myself.

2008 seem OK so far.

I predict that 2008 will have a lot of the same problems that last year had though there may be some improvements. We shall see.

Anyone have any predictions for this year?

I predict there will be no tiger attacks on US soil in 2008. Beyond that it's very hazy.
