As the battle in Basra started to heat up, Bush makes cheap proclamations, "Iraq's Moment in History has arrived",  and "Maliki's defining moment" crap like that.  He does it every time.

And the upshot?  
(crickets chirping)
Nothing.
Just - dead silence.
When is anyone going to call him on this?
